USO has already performed many activities although it has born recently.
Within this short time USO has participated many social works, seminars and dealt with some important cases. From them most important is USO is working against case of SHIFA.
USO has
1. Has collected mass signature of approximately 37000 people and sent them to President Barack Obama on 18 April, 2009 and Attorney General Eric Holder on 8 April, 2009 demanding justice for SHIFA.
2. Arranged press conference for SHIFA on in National Press Club DHAKA, Bangladesh on 31 August, 2009.
3. Arranged another press conference collaborating with students (Shifa was a student of North South University, Bangladesh) on 13 September, 2009 in Madhur Canteen, Dhaka University.
4. Organized Human-chain to protest against illegal confinement and punishment of SHIFA.
5. Have collected 2503 individual letters free from the people of different fields that appeal for making SHIFA free. And these letters was sent to William S. Duffey, District Court Judge, United States District Court.
